Don’t Lose Your Praise

Often times we may wonder how we can give such great advice to family, friends, etc. but cant quite take or own advice. Or we often wonder how we can provide strength and encouragement to those in need but we’re seeking that same uplifting spirit from God. God will use us to be the vessel, the voice, or the motivator to minister to those around us. It’s not our job to question but it’s our job to listen. It’s our job to take the task the Lord assigned to us and fulfill it to the best of our abilities. It’s not always about what can we get but it’s about what can we give. Take Philippians 4:4-7 for example. The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the city of Philippi encouraging them to stay faithful to God through this storm their church was getting ready to go through. Now the whole time Paul was uplifting the city, he was in jail waiting to be executed. Imagine how he felt. Being in jail, encouraging others to rejoice in The Lord, and remaining positive in his situation knowing he was innocent. Would you have been able to keep your sanity and still trust in God knowing you were innocent? Would you be able to encourage others knowing you were in jail? I can honestly say no. I would be so selfish and probably even be upset with God. It would be hard for all of us but we have to remember God is able and He promised us that He will be with us always. During your storm, continue to be the strength for someone else going through a storm. God will use you to minister to others. The challenge is being obedient and patient while praying for others. Reminding others to get along and be thankful in all that God is doing to you. Paul reminded the city not to be anxious about anything (verse 6) meaning, don’t stress over what you can’t control. Allow God to take over. God will calm your spirit, provide you with peace, and will guard your hearts through every obstacles (verse 7). Stop worrying about what God or someone can do for you and worry about how you can be a blessing to someone else.

Monday Prayer

Lord thank You for another week, another day, another chance to walk with You. Thank You for continuously blessing us even when we was undeserving. Lord we all are going through a storm, rather it’s big or small but I pray that you keep us strong because we know our breakthrough is approaching. Lord You are our shepherd, continue to direct us on the righteous path. We will have days when we will fall short. We will have days that our flesh will try to take over us. Anything the flesh has to offer, we know it’s all temporary but You Lord are everlasting. Cover us Lord in the blood that You shed for us. Thank You for Your mercy & Your forgiving heart. We love You. In Your name Amen.

Continue to Seek Your Purpose

We are all born with a purpose. It was already written by God. It’s up to us to seek our purpose through Him. As we prepare to walk with God He will equip us with the right amount of armor to begin our spiritual journey. During our walk, our faith will be tested such as dealing with temptation, negativity, distractions, financial difficulties, grieve, love, etc to name a few. It’s up to us to use God as our weapon to fight through them. You must keep your faith in God. During and after your obstacles praise His Name. Magnify
His love. There will be days when you want to quit & give up but think about everything you will be gaining! You will be gaining the word of God, strength, wisdom, understanding, love & forgiveness! Gods promises are magnificent! Gods promises are real!! Keep walking, keep praying, keep praising, and keep trusting. Claim your victory!

He gets ALL the Glory!

My grace, It’s because of Him. My faith, It’s because of Him. My confidence, It’s because of Him. My wisdom, It’s because of Him. My love, It’s because of Him. My growth, It’s because of Him. My spirit, It’s because of Him. My determination, It’s because of Him. My strength, It’s because of Him. My smile, It’s because of Him. My gift, It’s because of Him. My life, It’s because of Him. I am who I am because of Him. He gets all the Praise!!!

Let Go!!

Let go of what’s blocking you from receiving your blessings. Rather it’s an addiction, a man, worry, or guilt. God said He will meet you half way. Take those steps to see what God has in store for you! Trust in His doings. His purpose for you will be great. Man can’t show your purpose. Man can’t direct you to your future. Let go & Let God! God can give you the strength to get through anything. Yes making that first step is hard but once you start walking, trust me you won’t look back! Proverbs 16: 3 says “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Start committing to the Lord!!! YOUR RACE BEGINS NOW!!!

Are you judging?!

I’m sure we all can recall a time that we were judged and a time that we were even doing the judging. We are so quick to get offended when the judging is on us but it becomes “our opinion” when we’re doing the judging. We will judge a person for what they wear, how they wear their hair, or whom they decide to date…you get what I’m trying to say. Luke 6:37 says, “Do not judge and you will not be judge. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luckily we serve a forgiving God and by His mercy we can be changed. But for a second lets just say the shoe was on the other foot and we were the ones being judged. How would you respond to those judging you? Do you offend them? Do you get angry with them and say bad things about them? The answer of course is no. You immediately begin to pray for them. You don’t lash out on them with insult. Don’t be tempted to react negatively. Always respond in a Godly way. Yes this is very hard and I am honestly still struggling with this till this day. Satan wants us to become angry, bitter, and always ready to lash out on those judging us. Satan loves division. He loves dividing families, relationships and friendships. We have to pray and ask God for wisdom to see what the enemy is doing. When being judged think of your spiritual weapons, the word of God, the blood of Jesus, and prayer. “ No weapon formed against you shall prosper…” Isaiah 54:17. Don’t let Satan take over your happiness. Keep him a way from taking advantage over you. We have to learn how to win all of our battles. As I explained how to react to someone judging you, remember to think before you judge someone else. It’s an unpleasant feeling to be judged, so why would we consider judging someone else? Remember, who are we to judge?

Keep Pushing

I know some days are harder than other days and I know some days you just don’t feel like going on but keep your head up queen. One minute you may be full and bursting with positive energy and the next minute you feel negative and low but keep your head up queen. On days like this, just stop, take a deep breath, tell Satan “not today”, pray, smile, and grab your crown. Your day can seem terrible but what is a bad day when you’re walking with God. There is always something to be thankful for. Through every trial, remember you are still living. Which means God wants you to keep fighting. He didn’t and will not give up on you, so don’t give up on Him. I suggest you find someone you can talk to or do something that can encourage you daily. Read a bible verse daily, write a positive messages on a post-it, or listen to a song that can minister to you. Whatever you choose to do, just make sure you are encouraged. You will be surprised at how better and positive your day will be. We all have our days, that’s granted but keep Psalm 30:5 in your mind. “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”God’s grace and mercy is new every single day. Always acknowledge the benefits and possibilities of God. He won’t fail you!

Are you fit for being a wife?

As women, we often consider ourselves to be “wifey material”. Of course we all want to be married and have that dream wedding that we’ve been dreaming of since we were little girls. We strive to be the perfect girlfriend in which we hope leads to being the perfect wife. When relationships don’t work out, we blame the guy and begin to say, “He lost a good one”. But have you ever stopped and examined the qualities that you lack within yourself? I must say it took me several break ups to finally see that I wasn’t fit for being what I thought was “wifey material”. One I didn’t have a relationship with God, two, I wasn’t fully healed from my past, and three, I lacked confidence in who I was and what I wanted. I’ve been doing some studying on the virtuous wife in Proverbs 31: 10-31 and she is by far the perfect role model of a great wife. She is noble and plays a dominant role in her marriage and in her community. She wears her confidence and dignity with grace. Not only does her husband recognize her confidence but her community also recognizes it. Her confidence is contagious and it stems from the faith she has in God. She is a great wife to her husband and goes above and beyond to provide for her family. She is strong and doesn’t have a problem with taking full responsibilities with helping others in need. Not only does she take care of others, but also she makes time to take care of herself. She has the qualifications in being a great wife. She is supportive, reliable, trusting, and most of all she loves God. She has confidence in God and herself. As women, it’s a must that we take the time to seek God and seek who we truly are. How can we think we’re ready to be a wife, if we don’t know exactly what we want? Not just what we want out of a man but what we want out of life. Take the time to build your relationship with God, build your confidence, build a relationship with yourself, and build the qualifications that you lack. We all want to be a great wife one day so lets all strive to be like the virtuous wife in Proverbs.

Confident Queen

Hey you! Yes you! What are you doing?! Queens don’t hold their heads down, they hold them high! Got it?! Ok! Now raise your head high and wipe your tears dry. The frown you have on your face, transform it into a smile. Now get up! Go take a look in the mirror! Really look at yourself! Do you see the queen I see?! You should! She’s looking right at you! Now tell yourself “I am a queen! I am a confident queen! I am strong! I am covered by the blood of Jesus and because of that, I can conquer the world”! Now say it again ” I am a queen! I am a confident queen! I am strong! I am covered by the blood of Jesus and because of that, I can conquer the world”! Feel better?! I thought you would! Now grab your crown, put on that beautiful smile, Thank God, & go conquer the world!
